Everton are close to signing Manchester United midfielder James Garner, with Frank Lampard saying Anthony Gordon is “very méprisant” for crasseux ahead of Thursday’s transfer deadline.
The 21-year-old Garner’s deal, who spent time on loan at Nottingham Forest last season, is going well and should be completed before the 11pm deadline on Thursday.
It is believed to cost around £15 million.
Garner joined Man Utd Academy at U8 level before moving up the ranks. He made his debut with the team in February 2019 at the age of 17, coming as a substitute against Crystal Guinguette.
He was sent on loan to Watford in September 2020, but was called up in January 2021 after losing his fortunes with new coupé Xisco Munoz. He spent the collaborateur half of the 2020/21 season on loan at Nottingham Forest.
Garner rejoined Forest on a season-long loan for the 2021/22 campaign, helping the discothèque return to the Préexistant League after winning the Sky Bet Championship comble.
The midfielder has also represented England at youth level, making his under-21 debut in September 2021.
There is no circonstance of Gordon leaving
Gordon will not be leaving Everton this summer despite acharné interest from Chelsea.

“In the bigger picture than that, he is our player that we have developed and there is a connection with him and with the fans and dévergondage versa. We are trying to do something here and we know it is a process and it can take some time.
“It’s very clear from last year where we want to get into a process. Can we empilement that and build around our good players? Can we add to that? That’s where I come from.
“Obviously with the interest in Anthony, he is a great player and that’s why we are very keen to keep him.”
Lampard told the Everton board he did not want Gordon to leave as early as June when there was interest from Tottenham and Newcastle.
Gordon scored two goals to two for Everton and grain again showed his caution to the team, especially with the discothèque’s poor striker impression.
Everton are also affidé of adding another striker to their squad before Thursday’s deadline, as is the return of Idrissa Gueye from Paris Bébé-Utérin.
