What does the Ice Princess say? Topic, main idea, summary

Coral Smythe, who runs London’s most notorious house, Aphrodite’s Cave, knows all about men’s needs and passions. But she never felt the love of just one man…especially the love of Captain Isaac Wargate, who condemned her with eagle eyes but secretly desired her.

Captain Wargate condemns this woman in the golden mask who seduces the ship’s crew.

But when Coral is revealed as the prize for a card game, Wargate can’t help but join in the game…and wins.

Now the conservative sea captain has just seven nights to find out more about this mysterious woman. But when Coral is threatened by the new owner of Aphrodite’s Cave, will Wargate give the woman behind the mask a chance…and love?

“Hoyt writes stories that are too good to be true.”

Ice Princess Quotes – Lyrics

  • “A game is what you want it to be,” he said. “Most of life is a game. Played with skill, it can almost become a dance, with an intelligent and gripping opponent. One challenges and moves, the other harasses and flees, then leaps forward and responds with an effective slot.”
  • “Once upon a time, in a distant land, there was a princess made entirely of ice…” (Ice Princess)
  • “The men were very stupid, very similar, with their primitive desires and their noisy demands.”
  • “The man seemed to see his usual stuff running through his mind. It made him feel like a helpless rookie, but at the same time, just seeing him made his heart sweat, his lips twisting into a stupid smile.”
  • “Most of life is a game. Played with skill, it can almost turn into a dance, with an intelligent and gripping opponent.”

Ice Princess Review – Personal Opinions

I find it embarrassing for me to keep reading the same style and pens that can’t improve. I have read two of the author’s previous books. Both were extremely bad. I didn’t like it either in terms of the story or the language used. Sorry Romance, romantic comedy. The romantic drama has not progressed as much in literature as in the cinema. (the machine in my head)

The book is a beautiful romance novel. But it’s short. It could have been written a little longer and more enjoyable. Reading is not a waste of time. Although our female character has to lead a difficult life, she finds her soul mate who will love her in every way. He already deserved happiness Good reading. (Giant Hayriye)

To sum it up briefly, it was a pretty woman’s novel of a hundred pages, except it was only a story from a few hundred years ago. Of course, Hoyt has a unique writing style and managed to fit a fairy tale into his limited number of pages. But, unfortunately, my yardstick is a style of writing that details every corner, and every element that can be tied to BC events and people is described in detail. In the story that started jumping from the first page, it ended like this. As in the introduction to the novel, it all happened in 7 days (even in the limited evening hours these days). It was a novel I wouldn’t consider picking up and re-reading. (Librarian)
