The Son of Sobek Quotes – Lyrics

  • My new friend Percy stood in the middle of the street, looking at me in shock. It seems my fighter avatar took him by surprise, forgetting his own place in the plot. “What is that rotten crawling thing?” she asked. “You’re in a giant, shiny chicken-man!” “Falcon!” I screamed.
  • “I hate the word need,” Percy muttered. “Very well. I’ll take the necklace. Wedge it.” “Because you’re more boring,” Percy said. “Just try not to beat him again.”
  • I decided that if I survived today, I had to make sure this man never met Sadie. They would probably insult me forever in turn.
  • The surface of the river agitated with bubbles. The crocodile was gone, but about twenty feet from the swamp stood a teenager in jeans and a pale orange T-shirt that said CAMP.
  • It was my turn to be surprised. Moments ago, I decided that Percy wasn’t a magician. Yet I have never seen a magician who could control water so much.
  • “Pets,” I said. “It’s a Greek word, but the beast is Egyptian. It was like the mascot of the temple of Sobek, worshiped as a living god.” “You sound like Annabeth.” “WHO?” “None. Just skip the history lesson. How can we kill this thing?
  • “This beast is a pet, son of Sobek. “Who is Sobek?” he asked, “Lord of the Crocodiles. Egyptian god. “
  • Did Camper Boy call me a hybrid? Maybe I didn’t hear it correctly. Maybe he meant something else. But my father was African American. My mother was white. Hybrid was not a word I liked.
  • I’m Carter Kane – part-time freshman, part-time magician, full-time worried about all the Egyptian gods and monsters who are constantly trying to kill me.

The Son of Sobek Review – Personal Reviews

Yes Yes. I have completed excerpts and reviews of all three books in the Percy Jackson & Kane Chronicles Crossover short story series. My favorites are; the crown of ptolemy (story 3 all the crew) the rod of serapis (story 2 annabeth and sadie) the son of sobek (story 1 percy and carter). Seeing Percy and Sadie x Annabeth and Carter together was the most fun. I really loved the third story. Story 2 with Annabeth and Sadie was also very entertaining and funny, it makes me smile every time I think of Sadie’s exam with Greek in particular. Unfortunately, it was the most boring of stories. I laughed, but not as much as the other two. Maybe it would be different and fun if the narrator was Percy… To sum up, Carter, who was swallowed by a crocodile, is saved by Percy. The goal of both sides is to hunt the crocodile. Although they were enemies at first (spells, powers have spoken, my friends), they later realize they have to work together and our new team gets to work. Percy took the issue of other gods, something new for both parties, better. (Annabeth was quite shaken in the next story) Percy’s reaction to Carter’s avatar… It was amazing. In the third story, it’s already a joke. (There are quotes in Turkish, I’m not a professional translator, I was more careful to adapt the dialogues to Turkish and not spoil the style.) It was a short story, I didn’t need to tell you a lot. I say read and see. It was a very entertaining mini-series. (Loc’hlaith)

Thanks to Rick Riordan he has added a great series of books to our lives. The protagonists of two of them are found in this series of books (even if they are short books). Percy Jackson, Annabeth, and the two brothers we know from The Kane Chronicles meet in this trilogy of books (this is the first book I’m writing this review for 🙂 ) and they embark on little adventures together. You will see the main heroes of these two beautiful series and the Egyptian and Greek mythologies appear on stage at the same time. I think you should definitely read it, those who like adventures with Percy Jackson will definitely like these books. (Suleyman Ozdemir)
